There is a hidden private/var/flexlm folder on my system drive. That path doesn't correspond to what's on my system. My first problem was that it didn't look like anything had been installed on my system, but once I entered some terminal commands to show hidden files I could see the files being referred to in the setup instructions. I downloaded the nlm11.13.1.2_ipv4_ipv6_mac_universal.pkg and ran that installer. After two hours of reading through the directions and jumping from site to site I'm asking for help. I'm doing my best to wrap my puny artist brain around the procedure to get the Autodesk NLM running so I can use the Arnold renderer in Cinema 4D.
